HASHIURA Hiroaki (橋浦弘明), Assoc. Prof., Dr. Eng., Registered Information Security Specialist

He started his career as a software engineer at a startup while still an undergraduate, and later continued on to graduate school as a working adult student to complete both his master's and doctoral degrees in software engineering.

As a developer, he has experience in a wide range of domains, including news publishing, email distribution, stock exchanges, e-commerce, online gaming, card payments, financial information services for investors, web traffic analysis, healthcare support, and headhunting services. As a manager, he has contributed to business development, marketing support using SEO and BI, virtualization infrastructure migration, network infrastructure deployment, security policy enforcement, vulnerability assessments, and the management of personal information protection.

He is not only involved in daily research and education, utilizing his extensive experience and advanced technical skills gained through both business and academic achievements in the aforementioned software design and development activities, but also actively contributes to the social implementation of software engineering by serving as an advisor to the CIO at the school foundation, as well as a CISO and technical advisor for several startups.
